It's a full size (same as air con and engine rad) hi flow TD5 intercooler I believe.

Hi Pete, Not seen a picture, he says that the intercooler is the same depth as the std TD5 intercooler end chambers, but that depth accross the entire width, so just lessens any gap between the air con rad in front and engine rad behind, not really sure how that would effect airflow through...

How much difference did the intercooler make after the chipping? and was yours a replcement chip or powerbox type chipping?

Has anyone come accross a diesel dump valve, in particular to fit a TD5?

Ashcroft do a kit - basically all the genuine land rover items sold together - for £195.00 + VAT and delivery, all external to transfer box! result. Wonder how much the option was with land rover when new?

Did mine in-situ as removing the box looked like far more work than doing the seals, as it was, apart from working upside down I don't think it would have made the job alll that much easier.

Spent an hour or so again last night trawling old posts and found the one i'd seen - probably the same one you saw squiggle, from kzycnn, and he's msg'd me with ashcroft transmissions too. Time to call Ashcroft I think :/
