didn't think you could bleed it? after filling cars in the past from empty i just did a few turns lock to lock, could be wrong in this case though with them having a steering box and all, what makes you want to bleed it?

im likely to be using an aftermarket unit, im in the USA at the moment is it cheaper to buy a conversion cable? and will it be compatible with most aftermarket units? thanks josh

yeh not going into the top of the pump though? there is one nearer the timing chain a bit lower down (the inlet) and the outlet is on top of the pump is that right? Where should i be fault finding if the fuel is not coming through? will it do it just on cranking or just with the key in position...

right i think i may have tracked down the problem, the fuel feed on the injector pump from the tank, should it be going into the top of the pump or the back (near the alternator) When i turn the ignition on and turn over the engine i have disconnected the pipe from the tank and nothing comes out?

yeh i wonder if that is the case then that i need to swap the injector 4 over?

ive got the earth strap located to the left of the engine near the air compressor pump, what should it be screwed to? ive screwed it to the engine block is that right?

might head down to the breakers and see if they have any decent used ones, rather have one of those that a cheap too small new one tbh. does it sound like too little volts when cranking then? too low to even let the starter catch as it just spins at the moment?
