sounds like a blend motor problem, do a search, very common and sadly not cheap for the parts or labour.

have you checked the earth strap from the block? Try a jump lead from your neg battery terminal and clip it to the body of the motor, then you know you have a good earth. I had the same problem, starter motor needed rebuilding, only cost me 30 quid though :)

do you guys think it might be drawing air into the system while bleeding because of the repair kit i fitted to the slave cylinder? should i just buy a new slave? are the ones on ebay ok for 15 quid?

i used the old flywheel yeh. If the spigot bearing was damaged would i not be able to get it into gear? ive bled it again but air seems to keep coming out even though the reservoir is full, and when the pedal is pressed the push rod moves plenty.

mine is saying Not set on all windows, but i can't see why the mirrors wouldn't work as they don't need to be set do they?

having the same problem myself at the moment. Not sure what to change first tbh. mine hasn't got the sunroof, but the mirrors and windows arnet working. Maybe the switch panel? or is there an ECU for it?

doesn't seem there is a double din available really without blanking the current radio slot and messing round with the right hand side of the fascia. Might get a flip out one for the standard slot. Where is the best place in the UK to get the ISO connector/adapter from?

after reading so far, it sounds like you jumped it with a new battery which you had flattened so start by giving it a good slow charge on a charger and have it tested. if you have killed the battery the cold weather might have killed it completely.

i need to fill my steering system after the engine swap, is it essensial to bleed it? if so shall i just leave the steering still and open the nipple until fluid comes out? what is the capacity of the system?

ive got the exact same problem with mine. is there any easy way or dislodging the flap to see if it corrects itself? thanks josh
