    Noisy Start

Got the heat shield off the drivers side. A right b-----d of a job. Had to burn a couple of bolts out. The manifold is blowing. Slightly on the last joint which quickly seals when warm. More so on the "concertina" section. Where is the best place to get a replacement? Cheers

Tyre Man Help Winter Tyres. Should I be confident

I have Toyo Open Country All Terrain tyres on mine. M+S rating and excellent on snow and ice, both up hill and down. Obviously u need to drive in accordance with conditions. If u do so u won't get stuck with these tyres. They are about £145 each on tyre shopper, that's fitted.

    Key in ignition

I also had same problem. Cured by a puff of graphite powder down barrel. Cost about £1.50 from local hardware shop.

    Noisy Start

My P38 is very noisy on start up when cold. Sounds as though exhaust has completely blown. After about 20 seconds it quite a down then drives OK. When warm it starts OK I.e. no excessive noise. It's a 4.0 petrol, 2001 model. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve

    Compression Ratio?

Hi, I want to set correct timing on my S3 engine. According to book there are different settings dependant on compression ratio. How do I find out which compression ratio my 2.25 petrol engine is. Thanks. Steve

    RR Sport

Not a lot good said about the RR Sport. A bit surprised really. Is the full sized RR, 2007/2008 likely to be any more reliable...

    RR Sport

Donp38, what do you mean - don't go for a RR sport at all or don't go for the 3.6? Ps my P38 only averages 12 mpg where I live in the hills!

    RR Sport

Thanks, Is the l322, 2007 model just as unreliable? Problem is its nearly 1ft longer than my p38 so it may not fit in my garage hence going for the Sport...

    RR Sport

I had hoped they may be more reliable than my P38... Thought the 2.7 may be a bit sluggish...perhaps not.
