well that was a waste of time and money. Carb rebuild kit. and now not only does **** **** out with fuel but also the spindle sticks and won't shut off. Great. new carb it is then

Weber carbs catch fire?????????? um can't be as bad as my zenith squirting fuel onto the inlet manifold everytime i let off the gas.

cool cool. seems cheaper than a new carb. would a weber make any performance difference?

damn damn damn got a bit of a fuelage leakage coming from the throttle body on my IIA which will explain the very bad fuel consuption (bout 120 miles on a tank full). The fuel qill squirt out from the throttle spindle either when the enigine sin't running or when decellerating. Now is this a job...

The clutch. it wqas the first time i drove it on the open road today. back to the workshop to be fixed. i had a problem with the clutch engaging real slow. but after driving for a bit i realised , yeah it was slow but also was biting at the very last point. so throwing it away and gettin anew...

Finally after ten minutes of inspection i found the root problem of the heavy lazy clutch on my series II. It was knackered. Problem easily solved. i went out and bought a new one.

50? i took mine for a soin back from its failed MOT and the needle was reading nearly sixty and thats with out thrashing it. Fancy failing the MOT first one in 40 years.

Special tools needed???? a rather large of amount of persuasion is top of the list.

[ No expert on desert driving (or anything actually) but I would take a vice along to assist with any repairs, prehaps mounted on the bumper or somewhere else solid. Won't using the hi liift and two pairs of hands be any good????:confused:
