yes i had the same issue and it turned out to be due to what format the dvd's were in. As the dvd player was 2004 issue it would only play old dvd's and only way to resolve it was to buy a newer player which would fit same space and play currentr dvd's

i've re read this but how do i change the country setting without a remote (mine did not come with one)?

hi Just taken del on 2004 V8 with built in DVD player to keep the kids nice and quite on those long and short journeys. Only problem when put disk in comes up with an error message saying invalid media. Any ideas how to sort it Thanks in advance

Hi I'm off to Europe skiing with my disco 2 facelift model next month and normally i would stick some electrical black tape on the marked ares of my old disco 1 headlights. But these new model have no markings on the outside. Can you adjust them somehow to stop dazzling on coming cars ? Thanks

Just drained oil from rear diff and was brown mikly colour similar to oil in an engine which has head gasket gone. The front one oil was just dark and looked fine Does that mean water is somehow getting into the diff or the previuos owner hadn't changed it ? Thanks Rodney Disco2 V8 2000

l'm just about to do both diff's and transfere box and in my manual says use 75/w 90r mutli gear oil. In halfords they only seem to sell it in one litre bottles (and expensive) but noticed screwfix sell Carlube EP80/w 90 gear oil. Whats the difference and can i use this ? (its less than half...

tried a new battery didn't work

hi just taken owner ship of 2000 Disco 2 and happy so far, though reading this forum waiting for something to go wrong ! But i do have one small issue the car came with two Key fobs one is working fine the other isn't. I changed the battery in the non working FOB but still not working...
