Although I drive a TD4 now, I do have three other vehicles all fitted with K Series engines on my driveway - my wife's little Rover 25 runabout and my two MGFs. All have had the head gaskets replaced with the MLS version as an upgrade and not because of failure and none of them have ever given...

I reckon so, unless a brighter bulb can be sourced. As you say though, better than tippex! :lol: I've got one too and they're an excellent bit of kit. Needed to fit a CB for my Northants response stuff and this is by far the best way to mount the aerial.

You're absolutely right and I tried using an LED but it doesn't give the spread of light needed. Not enough space to fit more than the single ones either... :(

Nothing serious. Just a bulb blown. It had been like that since I bought the car. Not sure how easy the original controls are for getting to the back off, but it was centre console out and some tricky manoeuvring to do it on the facelift one, hounded by the fact that I have a different head unit...
