Can't advise directly on your particular issue, but all adhesives give in easier if it's warm. So choose a sunny day, park the car door in the sun, it will work loose easier. Or use a hairdyer to warm the trim.

Update Replaced the RF Receiver at a cost of £150, fitted it myself. But still have the same messages coming up on the dash board.:confused: Do I need something reset ?. Disconnect/Reconnect the battery. Both remotes work, but do they need re-syncing ?.

You are right, the "Sport Mode", does not light up other than when "Sport" selected. i.e not back lit.

Been away for the week, took both remotes. Basically one key displays the message, remote battery low. The other displays, engine disabled, press remote. I now have trust in the key that re-enables the engine, as this works every time. Point to note, both remotes can work without any...

I like the sound of FREE. I'll try that.....keep you posted. Interesting that I have no faults with the rest of the system i.e no flat car battery. I'm going to switch remotes on a daily basis to confuse the system, see what happens.
