Aye, sounds like you have plenty back up! Put in a set of the wipac clear headlamps in about two weeks ago, what an improvement! Made me realise just how **** my lights were.

They are ****e, no doubt about that, maybe sealed beams for headlights and a few good spots on the roof would be the answer

Its not to bad, the engine is blown but it came with a disco 200tdi engine on a pallet so a bit to be done

I put front and rear plastic washer thing on mine a while back after breaking them, the new ones came with the two bits together so I had to unscrew the retaining nut behind the dash and change out the whole thing, I managed to get it by pulling out the ashtray and it is just under there

I have a battery similar to that, found it to be poor for starting or jump starting a vehicle but I have it on a trailer now with 12v tipper ram/pump and it holds a charge for ages, only charge it bout once a year, if thats any help..

its not all that difficult but the main thing is having all the right gear,decent mig welder, 5" grinder and some kind of workshop

no point in rushing grunt, bet steel was a lot cheaper a year ago, £6.50 a metre for 80 x 40 box up here, what a rip off!!
