Hi peter, just checked the wastegate shaft, I know it should be fairly stiff, i used some mole grips n pushed towards the windscreen, it required alot more force than i thought but did move, now moves with alot less force needed but is still stiff I.E not wobbly Any other ideas if this doesn't...

97 300 tdi disco 1,Just got new set of the above tires, not sure what psi i should run, phoned company i bought from and they said 32psi front and back but on sun visor in the disco it says front 28 psi and rear 38 psi which i am guessing is the correct pressure for the tires that came with it...

97 300 tdi on 191,000 miles been getting a strange noise, sounds similar to the belt squeak but did the penny trick few months back and that sorted it, the noise also sounds more metalic and is coming from the right hand side of the engine, i thought bearings where giving up on the water pump...
