good news!!!! The kind bloke from green flag came out and after a bit of messing with some cold start down the air intake he worked out it was a fuel problem of some sort......I persuaded him to lay on the ground in the snow to show me where the fuel pump is and whilst down there, he gave it a...

thanks Ratty, can I just ask which side of the chassis? and how can I access the fuel pump? is the sensor on the injector rail easy to spot??ie, not hidden behind more of the flippin plastic??:o Give me a beetle engine and I can strip it down and rebuild it....one of these buggers is like...

tried all the things you suggested apart from the fuel pump thing??? is it under the plastic in the o/s wheel arch? I had a good grope round and couldn't find it......nothing worked:(

Hi, Ive got a bit of a strange fault!! The wife got into our 04 MY Freelander HSE and the tweeter cover on the inside of the wing mirror case bit fell off...the little black plastic bit had snapped clean off.....and it won't glue:rolleyes: is there a place online that is good to get the harmon...

the sensor switch is the smaller one I think.......its easier to see than the other one tho! when you see it, it looks like a grey cigarette lighter fixed to the bracket holding the brake pedal (at least it is on the auto).......that s the one i am referring to on the first post....:)
