Hi,
If you have any oil on top of the rocker box, chances are it's your turbo, if it is get it done straight away your enging could start running on the engine oil and theres no way of stopping it,(only to try and stall it)
Good luck.
On the inside of the door handle there is a plastic bracket, which turns when the key is turned to lock / unlock the door, anyone know where to get one ?.
Thanks
My daughter borrowed my 300 tdi, liked it so much she has now got one herself, got it cheap because the owner had dragged the n/s down the rear edge of waggon, (needs 2 doors and rear 1/4 panel), after going to Tesco week after week shopping she has now realised that when people see the dints...
Well thats done, new rad fitted (the old one had hardly any core fins left), done oil / filter change, going well now, bit of vibration for the last few weeks, thought it may be a u.j. but they are all ok, any ideas ?
Thanks
Hi, had the same problem with my rear wiper, turned out to be the gears in the motor siezed up, got another motor from a scrapyard £10. all ok now.
Hope this helps.
Hope this helped and hope you get it sorted out, if there is power to the ecu then it can only be the ecu, the motors or the linkage on the rails at fault ( i think)
Cheers
Hi Ben84,
Forgot to say you can open / close the sunroofs with an allan key put into the spindle of the motor, but make sure they are in the closed position before you remove the motor and don't turn it when the motor in off, or the park position will be different.
Cheers.
Hi ben84,
The problem could be in your control unit, which serves both sunroofs, and is fitted above the front switches and benind the headlining, to get it out and check it you will have to do as listed below.
1.Disconnect battery neg. terminal
2.ensure sunroof is in closed position...
Hi Ben84
Just type in Electric windows in the search box at the top, there is a diagram showing what to do, its probably a dry joint on the board behind the glove box.
