One of the landy mags covered the floor replacement,but in my experence a 2inch rust blob normally ends up as a 2x2foot patch, i am going to wait till the shopping falls though onto the axle before i am going to replace it. I bet the nasty MOT man makes me do it before hand,good luck and look...

I have a 1999 DSE and i get 24mpg around town and on a long run on the motorway at 75mph i can get 36mpg which is good going for a heavy car .

I have got a 200tdi disco but when i got my 2.5 DHSE i could not believe they where the same size engine.Disco pulls well but the DHSE just flies ,i think the little box on the inner wing may help .

Hi the best front seat covers i have had cost &#163;4.95 from tesco, but i got a good rear seat cover from craddocks with holes in for the seat belts.I can not remember how much.

I have 1993 200tdi discovery and a 1999 P38 Range Rover DSE so repair it myself and a plug it in to a computer types of Land Rovers. Everybody likes to give horror stories about P38s but mine has been great. If i lisened to all the horror stories about Land Rovers i would be toyota driver now...

There is a plastic arm on the drivers door lock which cracks and does not let the door unlock , when it wears a bit more you will not be able to lock the door , but works ok with the key fob. E bay is your cheapest way of getting door bits.

Thanks for the suggestion and quick reply to my post, it was running ever so well with no smoke, just started it up, drove to end of the street, suddenly started missing and smoking.This has led me to believe it was something on the fuel side. Any further ideas please?

Hi i have a 200tdi that will not rev and thows out white unburnt fuel smoke.I have changed the head gasket,cleaned out the fuel lines,changed the fuel injection pump,changed the timeing belt.It is timed up as per the manual,i have also swore at it and still its the same, any ideas?.

My 200 tdi will not rev, and is throwing white smoke out of the exhaust.Water is ok, oils ok no oil is passing through the turbo and i have cleaned out fuel sedimenter and fuel lines, and still no luck. Any help and suggestions gladly appreciated Thanks Beechy
