I agree, a bit more testing has made me feel it is not a fueling prob but maybe a gearbox issue as it feels if it can not make up its mind to change fully or not. Like you if I go to three quaters throttle it is fine. Thanks

Hi, I have recently dicovered my Fuel Pressure Regulator was leaking. It has been replaced and now the fuel pump has died. Is this normal? Did it create the FPR leak by making to much pressure at the pump? How soon will this happen again? The vehicle is an 03 auto with 50 k on it. Thanks

I would bet on you had dry uj's, going in the water has amde em rust and they/it are about to die! Cheap fix if you nip it in the bud or expensive if you carry on. My advice is have them checked by yourself or another and if odd movement detected replace the uj. Hope this helps

I have a 94 tdi 300 and have tweaked the pump and binned the cat, it has made a great difference. Good power to be had from 1000 rpm and a very relxed drive the rest of the time ( 4th gear with no labouring) I still have not done the intercooler as I have aircon. Tweak your pump and smile!

I have a 300tdi 94 m, generaly i get about 25/30 mpg with egr blanked, de cat pipe and tweaked pump. It goes better than standard if you use the beans but drinks like a bugger. drive steady and its better than when i got it at 150 000 miles
