because there is hardly any clearance for the end of the conrod in the bore its a git. if the conrod is bent it wont come out on its own. I was lucky enough to use an air hacksaw. manged to wedge the end of the rod with a bit of wood then cut 1 side of the rod off. took about 10 mins in total...

Has the sealant blocked your matrix somehow. Maybe a good flush out will improve things.

My 200tdi smokes every now and then when it gets hot. The smoke smells of oil. I took the injection pump boost diaphragm out to check the pin inside. When I undid the 4 screws on the cover oil pored out. Cleaned it all up but Shen I checked again yesterday the oil had started to build up again...
