My copy seems to be all petrol engines - so I'd say it's safe to assume a North Amercian copy? Does anyone know what the differences are between the post 02 MY and earlier TD5s (other than the dash and tail light layout)?

I too bought a copy on Ebay but the Defender section was only for V8 petrol models. The seller was kind enough to give me back my money though! Anyhow - does anyone have RAVE or similar for a 2005 model Defender 90 TD5 by any chance? I wouild be happy to cover postage, expenses etc.

I have a new 90 and I still take it up lanes etc. Isn't that what it's for??? If we had any sign of 'The worst Winter ever' that the F@#£wits at the Met office had promised us, I'd have taken it out on snow too!!!! No snow in Herts this year :mad:. I just love the way all other Defender...

Did anyone really consider running costs before buying a Land Rover? Surely not, otherwise we'd all be driving round in some bland 'jap-mobile'.

Isn't the difference between cabriolet and convertable to do with whether there is a roll-bar / permanent frame or not e.g. old golf's / 911's etc. Or has it got to do with whether the windows are framed or frameless? And what would you call an SLK or the new Volvo with Metal roofs? I...

The middle model. With recovery eyes but not with the extra plate. It is pretty sturdy. :D

I also bought mine from Rebel4x4 - It was pretty easy to fit. The only pointer I'd give is not tighten the brackets until you have the cover fitted as you may have some fun making the screws fit otherwise!

33 with a 90. All it took was a 1 day 4x4 course in a 90 pickup and me and the missus were hooked. 3 months later we bought our beast! Peeps do look at you a little odd coz they expect a beardy 50 something but hey! This thread shows we're a mixed bunch. There's no accounting for taste!
