fuel lift pump changed and tried on the motorway... got to 50 in third and managed to get to 70 (the giddy heights) but struggled after that... hmm. I also checked for smoke at the back and its clearer than a nuns conscience.

actually does this in itself mean the fuel lift pump is goosed?

done the service...no joy.. the lever on the fuel lift pump is very slack ...I have ordered a new one, unfortunately not a delphi one but will let you know how that goes when fitted.

Yup its standard. Was hoping to start adding and amending when the money gets a bit better... lift, bigger wheels some other bits... I love my landy and use it every day for work and its reliable as anything and as i said up to 60 its fine. I have had faster out of it but as i only use it...

Hello all bit of a weird one this, my 300tdi r reg is having trouble getting past 65 on a flat road will sometimes get to 70 but wont hold it for long, seems speedy enough, for a disco that is, around the earlier speeds up to 50 so is brilliant for driving around the city streets and the turbo...

local land rover supermarket guy says elements are donald.... ah well add a windscreen to the list

the element strips seems to be intact and the unheated /uncleared areas are of different thicknesses, the stripes go across the windscreen if its every other bar what could i do to rectify? I love my landy but the problems all seem to be odd ones

Hello I have a bit of a wierd problem when i try and use my heated front windscreen. It seems to clear in bars ie a striped effect whereby s tripe is cleared and then the area next to it isnt. could this be a simple relay or is this a new front windscreen?

well both trailing arms and bushes were replaced at the back but its still not driving ...right... maybe it was on its way out for a while and I was accostomed to it or something ... i dont know. it also has an oil leak thats making things difficult to identify.. apart from this its in fantastic...

had a terrifying drive there but got it to the land rover garage today and the power steering resevoir was extremely over filled hence why it looks like a leak :rolleyes: but the rear driver side trailing arm has snapped, the garage thinks this was done while the disco was on the ramp but the...

the local garage have said that there is fluid coming out of the steering box so I am taking it to the local land rover specialist today and wait to hear the bad news. The guys there thinks it may just be the seals or the pipes.
