My 300tdi is definitely as quick if not quicker than a V8.... Not silly, with simple mods the 200tdi or 300tdi can easily show a V8 a clean pair of high heels...

Buy a 300tdi...! Best advice I can give, used to have a TD5, went back to a 300tdi. It was nothing but bother from day 1..!

Fair point....If the customer is happy at £250 then that's all that matters I suppose, until someone starts doing it cheaper.;)

Firstly make sure your battery is healthy. Get a multimeter on the stater solenoid wire (Smallest one only about 2.5mm2) Do you have 12v when starting? If yes, starter solenoid could be stuck (give it whack with a broom handle), starter could be shagged. If no look elsewhere, alarm/immobiliser...

I would say that, a pint every now and then, you could add a bit more if you had a tank full of veg to give a little bit more viscosity. Handy when cold starting!;)

From the bay!!!! TD5 2004 lights in mint condition, I still have to get the finishers, they are about £20 a piece new, might just buy the fookers as waiting on them come up second hand might take a while. The rear door is a TD5 item aswell and some little bits of the interior are TD5 also.

Seats are a huge improvement on the stock ones. The wheels are 10" x 15" Tyres are 33" - 12.5" - 15"

Cheers bud. Seats are mk4 Golf GT front and back, took a bit of work but fit nice. Very comfy and supportive.
