Finally got around to fitting the EGR bypass, did a leak back test and tomorrow if the weather is ok I will be attempting to change the discs and pads.

Cheers the reason I ask for details regarding the mot is I think I'm right in saying from February 2015 the inspection is changing regarding the particulate filter but I cannot find any information regarding the egr . Dave

Whilst the above is true regarding looking out of the top of the screen, with the elevated position I find it not a problem . But do make sure your comfortable with it all on a decent test drive (not just a 5 minutes around the block). Dave

I changed the crankcase breather filter start to finish and back in the warm (hailstones the size of frozen peas at one point)just about an hour.

I have a 56 plate td4 freelander1 I'm 6ft 6 and about 19 stones and have no problems at all . My youngest son is 6ft 7 and about the same weight as me and there's no problem for him in the passenger seat. Dave

The tubes above are the ones I recently fitted but I got the black ones (my fl1 is black).
