ERe ed.poore 1982 Series III SWB - Now with big mother of winch so what winch have you got and what is the best way of fittingon sIII. Definately need one as my sIII took 2.5 hrs to dig out today, all part of the fun but seriously thinking about a winch.

And now she gets used every day to get me the 12 miles to work and back without so much as a hiccup. 24 round trip.

At least she works and with a whole new back end,1/4 chassis for mot, all lights stripped and rewired after some mouse or other decided she'd be a tasty snack, Engine bay electrics mostly rewired from squat and all this after the last prat decided to squash her when really, in my eyes anyway...

OK thanks guys now to find the defender/90 doors!! And the seat gets wet because the top corner of the top half of door where it slopes down to the front of the vehicle is rotten, and it trys to blow off because the bottom half of the door is completely shot. After all she is nearly 30 years...

Ok quite new to this landy lark and I have a series 3 2.25 petrol but the doors are rotten as hell. Just done a 1/4 chassis for mot but doors werent mentioned, just as well. My question is can you put defender doors with wind down windows onto a series 3, quite fancy the full glass effect...
