mines got 235/85 r16 on it i think thats about as big as you can go without major modification

where are the identity number (plates) on a series 3 land rover, iv know about the one in front of the gear stick is there any others

would a safari snorkel for a 200 tdi disco fit a 300 tdi disco, theres an adapter plat to fit a v8 with it also, how much modifing would it take to make it fit

I have just tried to start my series 3 I haven’t used it in about 3 weeks, as it turned over the battery slowly went flat then I started to get smoke from the engine bay so I removed the key but it carried on turning over, any idea what’s wrong, its a 2.25 diesel if it makes any differance

my series 3 is still smoking after spending the best part of £350 on the engine ive run out of idea's, ive had the injectors reconditioned, a new fuel pump all the oil leaks sorted so which is the best, easy'st and cheapest have my current engine rebuilt of doining an engine change

ive just bought a 1996 300 tdi 3dr disco with 12 months mot, and the usual rusty boot floor i payed £1500 for it and it will cost about 150 for the new floor and have it fitted, there's a lot of discos around the £2000 so shop around and you'll fid a good one

ive just bourght a discovery 300tdi 3dr ive also got a series 3 diesel which i run on a 50/50 mix of diesel and cooking oil, can i run the disco on the same mix or will it cause me problems

ive changed the injectors, the sump gasket, rocker head gasket, oil filter and the oil, what else could be making it smoke, it only smokes on acceleration

im with peter best my series 3 2.25 diesel is £150 and my series 3 hybrid 3.9 diesel is £190 both on limited miles but with no, no clames thats with green laneing insurance, if you've got any modifacations declare them or they wont pay out in the event of an accident

ive got to change the rocker gasket on my series 3 once ive changed it do i just tighten the bolts as tight as i can get them or is there a set torque i have to tighten them to
