never found fault tbh , only thing I found was something called a wot linkage worn , after replaceing them the rumbly noise has gone from when I drive on unevern roads , but the clunk accel,decell is still there , im thinking possible worn transforx box worn , read these are common on landrovers...

Cheers guys engine has had full service and all filters .found the problem cat in downpipe was solid .so replaced with a straight threw downpipe Injector data at idiol for the 5 injectors -0 -+3 Engine starts revs great now .but im now seeing faint blue smoke at idiol and when rpms are constant...

cheers guys for the info , tbh I bought the headgasket head bolts full injector seal kit and guy stated I needed plastic not steel ,, just awating the head now to pop it back together

worth a check on your mains big ends only takes a few mins with no oil to trash the crankshaft (mine went 51 plate td5 )but mine came on going down motorway , stopped quick as I could , removed sump and the oil pump was wearing into sump , removed conrod bearings was too late marked crank ...

heres a few pictures of the valve at fault , (better pictures in daylight) see how its destroyed the glow plug end up ,, unsure how long some idiot has been trying to run it like this ,(that's the worrying thing)

Cheers shifty .egr has oready bin removed ie egr blank and pipe fitted on intake ..i just binned downpipe and added a none cat threw pipe ..ill upload a better of the valve too ..

Right ive find problem .this is something i wouldnt expect to see on the milage of the motor No bent conrod .no damaged bore or piston rings .the exhuast value as a perfect square hole in it wtf???bang on the egde of the valve itself ..has wnyone had this or what might have caused it
