Cheers I think I'll go for an aftermarket complete replacement

It hasn't got one at the moment, I was wondering if there was a better aftermarket washer and pump. The old one was pretty asthmatic.

I regularly drive my td5 110 from Surrey to Glasgow. Sits at 70 ok but an overdrive would make a massive difference. It's ok on the fuel particularly when combined with old engine oil. I love it but I guess I tolerate it's bad points, my gf won't do long journeys in it! As a "serious" family...

Bit of chassis cleaner all over it and a power wash and it'll be as good as new! Great wagon great price does it run? What engine has it got?

+1 in the restoration, as soon as you start one thing leads to another and next thing you know your down to the chassis. Don't get me wrong a restoration is hugely rewarding and you know it's all there because you did it. But go into it with both eyes open set aside at least £2k and around 8 months.

Blast they've only got one wing bracket! Here's some more pictures. Stripped the bottom of the tub down fitted new crossmembers then painted it. Hopefully these won't end up like rusty Swiss cheese.

Definitely not, you'd be looking to drive it away for £1500!

Would anyone be interested in swopping a 109 hard top and rear door for either a truck cab and tail gate or canvas tilt, hood sticks and tail gate? The rear right window is cracked unfortunately.

Found the wing brackets, they carried on to the defender and are Mtc2136 and Mrc8926. Brilliant !

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the right angle top of the wing to bulkhead mounting brackets? I can't track them down online and according to my local landy parts shop they are not longer in production.

A few more pictures of it Starting to rebuild the dash, it's a bit of a pain as it's rusted to hell and I can't get a replacement. Engine in and pumping falling into place.

I'm currently piecing back together my 109 it's a 1980 6cyl series 3. An absolutely brilliant wagon when it runs, pervious to this restoration I've had to pull out the perkins 4.203 that was fitted and replace with a 200tdi and change the gearbox. Work carried out so far. Recondition 200tdi...

Looks good, I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my rear tub. Can I ask where did you get the galvanised crossmembers from? I've been quoted £106 for 6 normal ones which seems pretty steep! Tom
