picked up my fifth wheel. had bend in rear bumper straightened. now I have a spare steel wheel . if anyone wants it come and grab it . I also have a steel wheel "cover" ... maybe going up on a well known auction site as it doesnt fit on my alloy spare :S

so far .. changed the rocker cover gasket as it was spitting oil seems that it works better when torqued down correctly .. as opposed to hand tight as was the old one. checked under neath to confirm that the UJ's are on the way out .. will get those ordered whilst i am online now trying to...

I think I already know the answer .. but I'm just checking with you folks. Metallic rattling on acceleration and deceleration stops when at 30+. Not there at idle. I'm assuming uj's so will be out there shortly checking them all over. Anywhere else where it may be ?

5 hours to change the donut 3 blokes 2 blow torches Various lubricators And some big big bars. Thank you Brian for the spanners removing the prop from the box was the easiest part and was done within 10 minutes lol Next job rocker gasket. Oil return pipe . And carry on De rusting

So i have serviced her. ! Today's list change the doughnut. Check tyre pressures. Start cleaning all surface rust. And look to rust treat.

I feel another trip to pembs coming on just to borrow the large steam cleaner ... Oh and I suppose I must visit people whilst there lol

Well sorted diesel leek. Seems a can of carb cleaner sorted that problem out :$. But opened up a couple more lol. Rocker cover gasket to be ordered. Couple of pipes. What's best for cleaning the engine in situ? Carb cleaner works well but will get expensive quickly. Have tried swarfega...

So she has sat overnight pointing uphill and nothing on the floor no drips no leaks nothing. Top of the engine is still as clean as it was when I cleaned her. So have swapped her round to point downhill see what tomorrow brings. I liked landies more before I sank one in the snow the other year...

And live in the tent!! Lol. I'm thinking maybe house renovation. Landy fix up and baby on way I might have stretched my resources too far lol

It's not been serviced in ages looking at the filters. I just took her for a motorway trek to Pembrokeshire and back see how she faired. Checked all round the top of the engine it was as clean as when I left her last night. I'm giving her a good service next Week will try her on another run...

Well 180 miles today about half a tank of diesel. I really need to service her! No leaks at all though which surprised me. I'll park her uphill tonight check tomorrow and turn her around then check again tuesday

If only I had 300 left. :(

Sorry literally took them from the phone when the rain eased off. Yep the throttle return spring when pointing Downhill there is diesel leaking from there. As you can see in that pic I've started cleaning the engine up. So am hoping there is muck stuck there that was all thick with black oil...

Changed Front window regulators. Started cleaning the engine. Trying to find what a pipe is meant to be connected to !!

Looking from the front of the engine . Left hand side looks like a throttle cable comes to the top. Just below that is a spring (coiled metal?) Seems to be weeping below that. But only when facing downhill There is a pipe off at the back by the bulkhead black rigid plastic 2 90 degree bends...
