right,,so its the gearbox oil cooler that appears fixed to the radiator..any idea how to separate them? can leave the gearbox cooler in, just want the rad out

from what i can tell...whatever those metal unions are connected to..thats fixed to the radiator. Intercooler is out and free, no probs. Its the other pipes on the rads i cant get out.

Anybody know how to remove this hose from the radiator ?

has anyone got a decent guide on removal of these? cant see what im missing as to why the rad wont come out, seems the intercooler is stopping it...and cant figure that out!!! checked the workshop manual cant find it in there, no youtube help and nothing really else i can find online. even a...

Now I need to figure out how to remove the radiator...problem I have..can't find the hole in the power steering leak....so...with rad removed...I can't really run the engine to find the leak as that's when it starts leaking once pump kicks in.

anti clockwise, wouldnt budge with a spanner...but tapping it square on let me undo it by just spinning the fan :D

cheapest i can find is 20plus postage...plus..wouldnt get it till at least friday, and i only need to remove so access to other parts which i would then need to order...so but... hitting flat on the face twice, rotate to next side, hit twice repeat...did this for about 4 sides..and it came...

ah ok, i see wherwe this is heading now haha,was unsure why i was hiting it dead centre,...off outside again i go :D

will give that ago in a bit, think my problem is its spining to easily and i cant find a way to stop it.

i for the life of me cannot get this off, i need to stop it from turning as i turn the bolt. Any suggestions? sharp blow just spins the whole thing :(

is that clockwise facing into the engine or outwards? lol as i read its clockwise elsewere lol

any idea if this can be removed without taking off the fan? had a good wiggle about and cant seem to shift it without taking the fan off and don't fancy splashing out on a couple of "special" spanners.

removed that and had a look down, couldnt see anything hence removing the grill to see, cant see anything.. im no mechanic so hence me looking for a diagram to try and find something to assist me

ive just removed mine...wish i never botherd!! removing the old adhesive is proving to be a right ****ing nightmare! my disco is now sat on the drive with arches half on half off..with me debating just leaving them off!! haha

Does anyone have a diagram of the power steering hoses, i have a leak, suspected from the hoses From removing the front grill i can see its coming from behind the radiator bottom left, but not from the steering box, do the hoses go that way? if so, best way to get at them?

Charged the battery today..fired up fine :) Discool - never considerd the lack of driving with the drain on starting it..so does make sense now :)
