Hrrmm, good tip I think! To be honest I have never stalled it (yet) on a steep hill climb. But if I did I would have probly started it before selecting reverse lifting off the peddles and decending. Will try your advised technique if (when) it happens!

If the SWR meter is not moving it may be that your atenna is tuned 1:1! This means it is as good as it is going to get!! Most SWR meters have a swith and a knob to calibrate before taking a SWR reading. Does the meter move on calibrate? If it does and then you switch it to SWR reading and...
