The switch for the bonnet open message is part of the bonnet clip by the battery. I have seen a guide about trying to adjust it somewhere to fix the problem. However on a mates P38 we just disconnected the switch/sensor

Whilst swapping the drag link on the Disco this evening I noticed that the front of the sump is starting to flake rust, so looks like I will be changing it soon. So the question is how difficult is it to change the sump on a 300Tdi Disco and where is the best place to get one from ?

What I meant was if you can add a SD card to the unit for it to store data, surely the value of it would be to then place the memory card into a card reader in your PC to plot the data.

I assume it just writes a CSV type file to the SD card so you can then put it in a computer and plot the data ? From experience with other marquess I have found being able to plot the data in Excel very useful in fault finding, especially with things like MAF issues.

Does the Nanocomm allow data to be logged over a period as well as read a snap shot of live data ?

On the tow bar wiring front if you have 7 pin sockets then I believe it is purely a visual inspection and only a full test if you have a 13pin socket fitted.
