As it says, do the buttons on a clarion diversity head unit illuminate? A little orange light comes on to show which pre set station number is pressed and the display is fine but none of the other buttons have ever lit up, should they?

Yeah got new thermostats from eBay. Came from Hong Kong. And yes I used cable ties their much easier than the hog rings. Not sure if they heat up quicker but they stay hotter longer when turned off as they get much hotter when on. You can definitely feel the difference.

Well Ive been putting it off since the spring so seeing as the weather is on the turn I finaly did the heated seats yesterday. Id already fixed the drivers one a couple of years ago so I know its a pain of a job. This time I made it even harder by swapping the seat bases over at the same time...

Are you 100% positive the belt is fitted correctly? Seems odd it started after fitting a new one.

Fitted one to a 3.5 engine, ran fine, much better than the 390 Holley I took off. Every one I know that has a Rover V8 engined car that runs a carb uses a Edelbrock 500. Basicly just two twin choke Webbers (cos thats who makes them) next to each other. Check out the RPI (love em or hate em)...
