I followed it. It worked. BUT I managed to damage one of the sound boards somehow. Sent it to Clarion and thats what they told me. Just saying.

aux input on p38 HK system (all said it wasnt poss)

I followed that guide, and I ####ed up my head unit. Clarion said it's DANGEROUS! They've had a few that people have done themselves and they caught fire! They have me a right bollocking! They are trying to get the guide removed from you tube. BE WARNED!

I got mine done when I had the head unit repaired by clarion. They fit a wire direct into the back of the unit.

    seat covers

I want to know the same but from 3 bar to 5 bar. I have set of 3 bar full electric and 5 bar non electric. Want the 5 bar on the 3 bar frames. I would say it's just a straight swap albeit a pain to do. Can't see the foam cushion being different.

    revs nt going above 3k

Not revving, check the crank sensor at the back of the block on the n/s. Mine was doing the same and it was loose. And plus 2 on the battery charge for the abs and tc fault. Mine did that today in the queue for the car wash and I had the radio on for about half an hour.

    4.0 v8 exhaust

I had a straight pipe instead of a center box, and its sounded lovely, albeit mine has twin rear boxes. Do it!

To buy or bot to buy..P38 is the question!

Vogue is the face lift model year 2000 onwards I think, better spec and build than hse, but dearer to buy.

To buy or bot to buy..P38 is the question!

Buy a Petrol vogue with multi point lpg. Much better spec than a dse and the same mpg and cheaper.

    LED bulbs

I know some of you have fitted LED bulbs to your P38s 'cos ive done a bit of a search :p but some of the Ebay etc links in the threads are out of date, has anyone got some new ones? I'm thinking of changing as many of the bulbs as possible (inside and out). I've had a look on Ebay etc but there...

    P38 '95 4.6 misfire

So the spark plug is not sparking? or is it sparking, if so the cylinder has no compression? try sticking a spark plug into the lead and earth it out on the exhaust manifold, and see if you get a spark. No spark=electrical fault. Good spark=compression fault. easy.

4.6 Auto1998 cranks wont spark no fuel

Ok new to this thread. Had a quick read, sounds like you've done loads. You've also put loads of neat fuel down the cylinder bores and washed them clean. Ie now you have no compression. You said it turns over fast, no wonder. Could try taking the plugs out and clean them. Also put some oil down...
