Cheers :) Yep 20mm lug welded front and back to 10mm plate. :cool: Could of got it burnt out of 25mm but thought 20mm would be substantial enough. :D The lugs on my homemade front winch bumper are also 20mm thick. :p

So.... Been a while again. But I've finally got round to ditching the tow bar and putting on a temporary rear recovery point. Cut up some of the towbar also to make it. But looks a lot better and should be safer. And uses the original towbar mounting points. It's pretty beefy. Mostly...

I've done it with an engine crane with interior and doors removed. Only needed help to stabilise it on the crane or I could of done it on my own. But once it's up just roll the chassis out from underneath and put body onto wood/axle stands. :)
