I've got an optima yellow top in as my second battery. I'd say there was plenty of room in there for something a bit bigger possibly but may need the power steering reservoir moving. Hope that helps. :)

It doesn't no. But is a good fix for on the road. :) To be fair though the gearing hasn't bother me off road at all. Anyway it's only a temporary fix for mine until I get lockers later this year. When I'll change the c&p ratio's.

Change the transfer box for the 1.4 ratio defender one. It's what I'm doing and I'm on 33's.

Possibly :D Like I say one is just for aux equipment. One for winch/winches, and the normal battery for the standard stuffs. Some progress with the trug will be made soon. Couple of months time (when the weather is nicer) should see some progress with rear winch/bumper removal/rear...

Errr. Nope not yet. :o Still sat in a box indoors waiting to go on. Do have a 2nd alternator though instead atm. :) The split charge will be fitted still but depends when I get on and wire in the 3rd battery and all the aux stuff properly. Plan with that is the 3rd battery will be charged...

I'd take your rear bumper off too and check the rear crossmember. Mine had no holes where yours does in the pics, just slight surface rust. Took my rear bumper off when I did the body lift and the crossmember looked like it was made from Swiss cheese. :(

Haha, mine will be going providing I don't break it beforehand. :rolleyes: No problem with sharing on here. :) I know not everyone uses Facebook so thought it may be worthwhile. Although I did think a fair few more would of been interested. Like you say it's an event not to be missed. :)
