Really tight, and really effin tight! :D 48lbf ft or 65NM for the drive flange and 54lbf ft or 73NM for the brake disc bolts. I use loctite on both.

    Carpets or no carpets?

Not really seem to stay pretty still. Unless my footwells fill up with water then they float! :D

    Carpets or no carpets?

I've got the original discovery rubber mats in mine. Well the fronts anyway. Rest are stored somewhere.

    Carpets or no carpets?

Yea floors were rust treated and repaired where needed and then primed and painted. Then a rubber mat chucked on top. Jet washing the inside is now easy. :D

    Carpets or no carpets?

Mine are long gone. Ripped the lot out and just stuck some rubber mats in for ease of cleaning. Also have several holes drilled in the floor to allow water out when deep wading. :)

    R380 Breather Thread Sizes???

Mine are all pneumatic fittings. I've done away with all the original banjo fittings now and have push fittings instead. iirc they are 1/8 bsp .in fact I'm sure they are as I used that size recently to tap my timing cover plate to put a breather in that with a pneumatic fitting. :) I'm sure...

    What does your disco weigh?

I'd dread to think how much mine weighs...... Homemade winch bumper (with winch) made from 6mm plate/3mm box/ 20mm thick recovery points. Steel steering guard. Box section sills. HD diff plans (6mm thick) Loads of storage in the back. Admittedly she is stripped out. But...

    Switches and switch box.

It's only a matter of time before they do leak! :p All wires are routed behind headlining then behind the A pillar trim and behind the dash. Use a single feed for switch lights and a single earth wire. The rest of the wires makes a substantial clump but not unmanageable. All relays are...
