I just assumed there was 1 gasket sandwiched between the manifold and the head. Read your post wrong biglad, i think i know what you mean, Im on of them that has to be looking at something for it to sink in..

Im going to change the manifold gasket today, and have been advised to feel arounD the head gasket to see if there is any blowing. How can i check the oil pressure. Archie

I wouldnt give some one 6 and half grand, put it into there bank account then they pay off there finance bill. What if he doesnt hand the car over. I would definately get some sort of contract written up explaining what you are doing. I would definately contact the finance company...

I dont get any errors now, from a dignostic or the blink test but the lights still on and i know the sensor isnt working. So i can`t do anything until i get a new sensor, but my brakes are working fine. Im in no rush for a sensor as my MOT doesnt expire until November. Archie

Hi Jonathan, Well im going to get a new sensor then go from there, if that doesn`t cure it im going to get a new kinpin, with the new sensor bush and try that, there only £20 complete on ebay. Failing that, to tell you the truth i dont know what i will do. Im determined to sort it out though...
