did you do the head yourself? coolant system bled ok?

they look mint, how much was your adaptors and where from

i brought some td5 wheels with nearly brand new tyres on it (255/65 r16) as my tyres are going bald and losing air, if any one had any knocking about i would have brought the adaptors.More than likely have the tyres swapped over monday and i might get a spare tyre as thats flat as fook.

what about 255/65 r16 they are not on the list im thinking of putting these on me freestyle alloys

is the timing out? mine had similar issues with the misfire and throttle and turned out to be that. mines a 300tdi manual disco so i could be wrong.What does the smoke smell like

Think you need a primer that etches into the metal.It would look quite smart painted. try a motor factors that makes the paint etc. theres one in derby- morley motor factors

mine did 340,000 and my mates still driving it now on the same diesel engine, my dad had it from new lol must be the lucky one

Not done any mods yet, i've got some recovery points now front and back. 1 in each corner on the front. and a nice clean rope for now lol :D just searching for some cheepish wheels and decent tyres. i only got road tyres at the min which are getting low on tread so will have them next week.

well it turned out the garage who i brought it off didn't do the cam belt properly. the timing was out by 180 degrees apparently and they never timed the fuel pump either. wasted a few pounds on the way. but now runs a dream with no issues.

Injectors are way to expensive for my liking seen some new ones on ebay for 60 each for a 300 tdi but theres a few with different part numbers?

been to see my machanic, says i need new injectors

took all pipes off and from the pipe from the breather filter box round to the air intake pipe has loads of oil in there, is this normal? no major play on the spindal for turbo, feels about 1mm with fingers. would the oil in the pipe cause the blue smoke
