Just tried buying swivels AGIAN . This time been asked if steering arm goes to bottom of ball or top . Mine goes to bottom . They say it has to have been changed to series 2a at some time . Is this right?. :confused::confused:

Hope some one can help. Need to put new swivels on my 1958 swb.The brakes have been upgraded to lwb at some time.When i went to order new swivels was asked was it swb or lwb.How do i tell if my swivels have been upgraded ?. I always belived they were the same for both?. many thanks. CHUNK...

SORRY but i only seem to come on here when i have prob. My drive shaft broke ive since got a new one. So first off what oil do i put in diff and do i fill it right up 2nd some one told me i have to grease the wheel bearings but wouldnt that just get washed off from diff oil?. Thanks :cool:

Hi ive just got my self a 1958 series 11 on the log book the last three digits are 103. Now going by the number landrover were making that year i guess mine must have been made in the secound or third mounth of production. Dose any one have or know of any series made with a lower number ?.many...

Hi thanks for your reply. I have not ran it with out air filter what made me think valve becuase theres only two things that move in block piston and valve. But two honest ive not got a clue (only worked on petrol before).But its def looks like its been hit.

Any one got any ideas. Last week my 1958 serise 11 would not start when i removed one of the glow plugs it looked like it had been hit with a ball pain hammer but the rest were ok . I changed said plug and every thing was good. Then this morning would not start again removed plugs and two looked...
