I would say check and double checkl your battery connections before anything else. a 1/2 turn with a 1/4 whit spanner may be all thats needed.

I am remaining cautious and staying at 70/30 roughly. At 73p the cheapest round here its not worth doing that much esp as I dont do that many miles.

is it a D1 or D2? my 96 ES had a CD changer under the seat with a sub amp and 2 speakers in the tailgate. Since changed the head unit with a sony and disconnected the changer.

Just noticed something funny. The sub only seems to work when listyening to the radio. Really good bass and you can alter how much is going to the sub. But when you listen to a CD or the MP3 on the flash memory then the sub doesnt work . Its a Sony Gigamex 1GB. Cant find the destructions either!
