    What should I be looking for in a winch?

    Is there anything wrong with manual winches apart from the hard work and sweat? what should they be rated for? the same weight of the car or twice as much etc?

    Is the imobiliser in the fob? Yeah i had the original key in my pocket, however when they guys tested the original key in the machine at Mr Mint it said there was no chip!!! crazy

    Hi All Ok so here is the problem. my disco only came with one key and the fob part of the key is a bit fcuk'd so i want to get another. Now before we launch into the chip issue, me being me did the cheapy thing n went to my local key cutter who did a cheap copy...... i plucked up the courage...

    What have you done to your Landie today.

    just cut out the seal aound the rear side window and sky light.......then run some black silicone sealant in. Thought it would be a good idea as the old rubber had perished and was falling out. Made a right f up of it as its so hot here even in the evening that the silicone is starting to cure...

    So J.P.S why no bio diesel; must be still expensive to run on 100 % veg oil. Spent years runnig my cit. BX's on home made bio ..cheap as....... well chips with free soap to sell too.
