I know but I've already got the rad from the 19j as the s3 rad is knackered! It's going to have be some fabrication I think a few steel brackets and some ally plate to stop movement
Just read the thread from start to finish and WOW!!!!! What a thread this is, your s3 is looking good! I hope your continuing with the jobs! Your welding is incredible
Hope to see some more of this thread soon
Well when I started it was bit nippy to say the least then a couple of hours later it went bloody dark  ohhh and had to seam seal..... that stuff is horrendous to work with but I hope it helps keeping some water
Have a look on facebook market place a fella by the name of Steven Baldwin breaks series up! I've just had a set of wings of of him, and a few other things, good fella And he pack them up for you if you sort delivery
I saw a picture on I think Steve parkers I think it was where they had the rail mounted to the s3 grille but obv it can't be seen what else they did with it! I'll see if I can find it again
I know I kinda wanted to stick with the s3 grille! I was kinda thinking about fitting the radiator top rail to the s3 grille some how but wanted to see if any one else had some thing similar
hello sorry for posting again
I'm looking at putting a radiator for 19j engine into a series 3 but wondering how am I going to mount it? Do I hack away the original front grille or mount the original 19j radiator holder some how? Has any one done this before? Let me see what you have got? :)...
If you look on ebay for a shop by the name of sams4x42012 they do some pretty good seats if your not interested in the original look, I have some ready for my s3 when the bulkhead and floors back in it, good quality and decent price too
Yeh the bottom link is them I've got already as it came with a truck cab and hard top, always fancied a truck cab so gone down this route with nel :p and 80$ plus postage is a bit top heavy for me at the minute :(
