You see all these defenders and even series these days with nasty alloys on. How the feck do you change/repair the halfshaft, or do up hubnuts, pack rollerbearings with grease, without taking the wheel off, when theres no drive flange?

I just pour the veg ontop of the diesel with a cap full of white spirit. Mines a 2.25 Series III. I use about 70:30 diesel or 80:20 diesel

While the landie wont jerk and pull agrresivley (giggidy), on a dual carriageway, or A-road, it will on motorways, and only on certain stretches. Is this due to deep lorry ruts?
