Have you tried disconnecting the duct to see if any wind is comming out of the box?

Obvious one on the rear brakes - pull the handbrake a click or two and seeif that improves matters. If so your rear ajusters aint working and need the attention of a wire brush!;)

Yeah, thermostat replaced and all is now well. Was obvious the old thermo was screwed as the blanking plate was lob sided. Tiny's heater now warms up with the temp guage and all is once again well.:D

Ta for that but replaced the original today. Mein gott - what a nightmare of a job. Once the belly pan is off you can see the thermo cover fine but one of the torx screws is a nightmare to get at. Resorted to making my own tool so if anyone wants to borrow "Tiny special tool b563829" I charge...

Found the pipe knocking about near the engine mount out of its clip...vibration has been gone a few days now so no difference anyhoo. How did you get on?

Ah, so your prop is off? Yeah it does make a massive difference but does not cure it. Just been to the dealer to pick up my thermatwat gasket - he described the exact vibration and put it down to the hydrolic pipe leading from the clutch master to the slave...apparently prone to...

Seriously mate - yours sounds exactly like mine but ashamed as I am to admit it - My vibration has been gone 3 days now. Just gone?!? This does happen from time to time and it will be back. Tried inducing it last night but smooth as silk all the way home. Mad eh?:confused: Know what u mean...

Main thing to look for which may spell trouble is if the driver has a past history of changing cars more frequently than his undies. As long as he does not have a history of "Landy Killing" or the ability to spell doom and disaster within warranty then all should be ok :D

Remote thermo would be sooooooo much easier. Know if there is one available for the L series or how to fabricate one?:confused:
