Hi, Looking to get a set of road biased tyres for my 109. Currently running Kingpin Tracker Technik tyres with tubes but the are starting to crack on the tread due to age (only done 700 miles). Matching pairs or full set. Cover lowish miles so new and used considered. Cheers Toby

Well I had the front drums off and all seems ok. the drums are a tight fit over the shoes even with no turn on the adjusters. The hub does spin more freely without the drum in place so they must be causing the extra drag. The shoes, springs and cylinders are all new and seem to be working fine...

Think I will do that as got a week off at the end of the month. Did the rear bearings when swapped to later back plates. Will get the parts ordered in plenty of time.

Well everything is out and starting to clean up the head ready for getting it to someone who can skim it. One of the valves has 2 cracks in it one you can see through. Will look to clean the valves to see how many new ones I need. Plenty of carbon build up to get rid of. Whats the best way...

Well the compression mystery is solved. 3 of the exhaust valves leak, 2 a little the other a lot!

Can I jet wash the head to get rid of years of oil?
