My Series III that I got recently has a Defender front end - it's just a panel that sits between the wings, and has the longer Defender bonnet. It has two quick release rubber bonnet catches to get around the fact it doesn't meet up with the original bonnet release. Whoever did it had a sense...

So roof, rear light wiring, seat box and then finally the tub. Does one need to remove the fuel filler pipe and then unbolt the tank last - or does it come away with the body? Thanks for answering, I'm still trying to learn my way about the landy and I apologise if I'm asking a) daft...

As a total newbie, how difficult is it to remove the top and back of a series landy. I'm asking as I've just got a Series III and want to clean up the chassis etc. Thanks.
