having read a few posts on other sites and bits i drove in to work and there was no rattle when appyling the brakes so i am happy it is the brakes now i need to try to find a anti rattle clip of pads top stop the rattle. any ideas i have a 300 tdi on a p plate auto

Pads are only a few months old. Did not appear to be much play in them. But i will check them and refit thay have only done 1000 miles. If i rock the landie there appears to be knocking from the hub assembly.

No problem with dif lock just the low range keeping poping out.

It is not from lack of use. It has just changed. Can not even hold it in pops out straight away. On an old one i used to have to hold it. This i can not even hold it in still pulls the boat off the beach but sometimes when the soft sand has built up low range is helpful.
