I have noticed I am losing a bit of water. Not into the oil and the system is no pressured. I think maybe slight leak from head gasket. Was considering using liquid steel to see if it fixes it. Anyone used the stuff dies it work as described.

Has anyone used this stuff. I have a 300 which on a 250 mile drive has lost 1/4 of the header tank a little white smoke on star up. No water in the oil. Thought might be worth a punt rather than 300+ for head gasket.

I tried this but could not get a definite lock on the sounds. Tried it several times. Sounds like spring but why would it start. The noise is present with compression and let and only needs very small amount of movement couple of inches.

Read this somewhere with regards a range rover. Where is this part.

The last couple of months I have noticed a creaking noise from the rear of my 300. If I rock the car it creaks both up if lifted and down if pushed. Sounds like a spring creaking. The drop links look ok. Any ideas where to start.

During MOT inspection I was walking under the landie and the MOT bloke pointed out that I could do with a new mid silencer soon. Having looked as you there is a silencer for about £35 or a straight through pipe for £40. Any thoughts about which to get.

I was shown a track rod end on front side of the axel and a drag arm end on the other. Both offside. I need to replace these two. Track rod has a rh thread got that. Still not sure about the drag arm left or right thread.
