you should be starting on petrol and only switching to lpg once warmed up . At least this is the case for injected systems.

are you sure the new box came from a td5 as well. I may be way off but I seem to recall that when they went to the 4.4 petrol the box was lengthen by 15mm to cope with the extra power and allow more gearbox oil. Dont know if this is relevant or not Andy

I had this on my v8 at this speed as the torque converter locked the load on the engine increased and it highlighted a problem with the coil packs and leads causing a misfire and judder. not noticeable when revved freely good luck

I would say it is a slightly leaking sunroof causing condensation around the receiver which will cause an intermittent short , I currently have the headlining out of mine and now it is dry I dont have a problem.. would recommend getting the eka code which will stop you being stranded Andy

this has happened to me recently as well, 1st thing to do is get your EKA code (emergency key access) this should be with your manual if not , take your log book to your dealer . This will get you going if you are stuck. It is a P.I.T.A. as you have to turn the key so many times left and right...

well its not cured , went to go out tonight and nothing again! lots of condensation , but will need to wait for rainy day to find leak. no sign of corrosion on receiver , in fact looks quite shiny and new. next step is to take glove box out and see whats on the bulkhead. the eka code does...

sounds like it , I always keep at least a 1/4 tank in mine(v8 on lpg) as the fuel pump is always running. from the service history on mine I saw the prev owner had to replace the fuel pump

well it worked at 5pm last night but not at 9am this morning !! It did let me use the eka code though. so I get home ok lock using the key , about 1hr later I go out to start removing the head liner (I still get the odd drip) unlock with the key , open door , NO ALARM put key in and it starts...
