Hi chaps, was looking around the site for a decent pic of what tyre feathering / sawtooth patterns on the rear wheels look like and could only find one - which still didn't help me much :o Anyone got a pic of this, in easily visible form? Or is able to describe exactly what to look out...

not sure if this helps, but when my battery was totally dead, where the dash lights barely came on, the car wouldn't jump start either, even when i was trying to jump it from a 100Ah battery in another offroad. Once i got a new bat, all was fine again.

Hi, Another question for today - my temp guage has been working a little strangely for a while: the car seems to wam up ok, the temp guage settles around half, and then proceeds to sway down a little below half, then moves back up to half (never goes above!) -it seems to make these changes...

Ming: understood - but ever since i had the car the light used to come on, even if just for a second and i havent seen it on for ages. even when its -15 outside and the car is an icicle on wheels :)

Yup, fuses are fine (checked them a few days ago - even the 100A in the engine compartment)
