I got a janspeed cat back stainless system. Brought it mainly because it will last forever. Not too loud but does sound good in my opinion.

Well I done a compression test today after suspicions of head gasket failure. To me the results look good, in the way that hopefully its not got a crack in the block. 8. 165 7. 140 6. 165 5. 0 4. 165 3. 95 2. 165 1. 0 All in psi. What does people think?

Well thanks all for the advice. Will put a post up with what I find. The car itself is really good condition so if the block is cracked I will have the Hugh enjoyment of building up a new engine. Never pulled such a big engine from a car before. What's the best way to tell if the block is cracked?

Thanks for the quick reply. If it has slipped a liner would the only option be a replacement engine? Seen second hand ones on flee bay, but that seems to be a risk

22" are what the new ones are. The drivers side is catching the windscreen rubber

Can anyone tell me how long the windscreen wipers should be on my RR P38. I have just brought some new ones and the drivers side is to long, Although the same length as the origionals, they must of been wrong to start with. 19" rings a bell but want to confirm before I take them back.

Great! Unfortunatly the lock mechanism is also at fault. I did not find that out until today. Had to call out the RAC.

Just tried to unlock my P38 range rover and it wont. Changed the battery in the key fob, But made no difference. I am suspicious the battery is flat as in has been stood for a week. Could this be the cause?

Good question. The battery is about a year old. My missis got it, I told her to get a high ampage one. The cars not been used much this week. Maybe its beacause I jumped in the car with heated seat on heated front and rear window on and the blower going, and did't drive it that far. But still...

Flat battery. How stupid do I feel!

It started fine when I went to the shops. But saying that, I only went about half a mile down the road. The gearbox fault message is worring me.

Just popped to the shops. Went to start it up and nothing. Gearbox fault is coming up on the dash and I can here a clicking sound coming from somewhere under the bonnet. Called the AA. So walked home. Just waiting for the AA to call me back. Any surgestions?

seem like monroe are a bit cheap and nasty. I wont be buying any of them.
