jet washing yr rad can wreck it! fins get bent over and block air flow etc. it might be worth changing the thermostat, even it appears to be working and cutting in at the right temp it may not be opening fully? note it is bypass type so removing as a test to see if it the cuase of the problem...

top bearing on abs models is not a taper roller it is a plain bearing to allow the sensor to go through the middle of it....... the bottom bearing is a taper roller same as non abs models

hi:daze, as you have the water tank out you can check the rubber seal around the wires isnt your source of leak as it is exposed when the tank is out, normally you cant see it. That seal does not leak on mine, or at least thats not where the leak shows itself, im not sure how water would get to...

if it had damp carpet but not caaused by rain aircon drains would be the suspect,:if it has aircon! personally I hate the leaks, I just dont like the idea of the car rusting away if I could stop it, just wish I could stop it.......

hi, even though you want to keep it standard I think it is good advice to remove the rubber sound proofing from the front footwells, in the long term it will stop rust in those areas, if you do manage to stop the leaks, which is by no means certain :mad::mad: you will you can maybe put some back!
