You could call TVED in Reading; Purdey there is excellent with phone diagnosis! He's just reconditioned my fuel injectors (they were 20% out on test) , fitted new turbo (a vane had seized) and he is reconditioning the fuel pump on my 300tdi 110 today.

My 300tdi 110 (with allisport intercooler and silicone hoses) was doing 28.5 - 30 MPG on short trips not exceeding 60mph. I've now replaced the turbo (a vane seized) and reconditioned the fuel injectors (which were 20% out) - it's increased the power noticeably and I'm getting 33-34 mpg.

Can anyone tell me if ALR9946 is the right part number for a 1995 300tdi Defender 110 bulkhead/instrument panel? Thanks.

Thanks Foxyred I know the NAS are 95mm v bog standard 73mm, but on one thread in another forum I read about RDX making stepped plinths to overcome the drilling/overhang problem. When you say LED light for the dash - do you mean the flasher unit or something else?

go for a maggiolina rather than safari style tent - they take a full double skin and are much warmer if you expect cool weather. I have a hannibal and will replace it with maggiolina as soon as cash allows especially as there are good deals from italy on fleabay (paypal protected!)

the vehicle is a 110 defender 300tdi. Used 3+ times a week around town and 1once or twice a month for camping trips and longer summer hols. The main is just needed for starting, the aux for lights, fridge, usb chargers etc - there is no winch (i carry a tirfor)
