Its a land rover 90 v8. The exhaust is leaking at the joint. The v8 was a conversion and it looks like whoever fitted it cut some grooves into the exhaust to widen it and fit it over the manifold down pipe and a clamp fitted over it. So im not sure if i'll to replace it, or i can repair it...

Hello, I have discovered a pretty big leak in my exhaust between the manifold and exhaust. Its the section on the picture below on the joint near the SYA7 bracket. Anyone have any ideas on how to repair it?

Yes, I though about making a patch. Just suprised, it seems possible to replace almost every part of a bulkhead except that bit!! Maybe I've found a gap in the market!! Any idea how thick the steel is?

So that piece of metal in the dumb iron should be attached to the bumper? the reason im removing it is the bumper was bent in some sort of crash and its the bent end im struggling with. But yeah the piece of metal the bolt is screwed into is loose in the dumb iron. Cheers
